Factories in the IT capital of Asia
Rangsons Electronics has two facilities for surface mount PCB Assembly (SMT), one for through-hole assembly (THA), and one for electromechanical assembly (EMA or Final Assembly) in the vicinity of Bangalore, the IT capital of Asia. With 6 000 sq. meters of clean area and a human capital of 150 highly capable people, we enjoy the highest vendor rating with 88% of our customers.
Equipment for flexible electronics production
We mount chips ranging from 0201 onwards, including SOIC, PLCC, TSOP, QFP, BGA, FLIP CHIP, CSP, Odd Form, Direct Chip Attach, SMD Connectors and some TH Components. We have three automated SMT lines:
SMT Line 1 with a Fuji GP 641, Fuji CP 6, Fuji IP 3 and an Electrovert.
Line 2 with Minami EMS 280SA, a Mydata MY9 and a Unifab Q60 PC.
SMT Line 3 with a Minami, a Mydata TP9 and a Unifab Q60 PC. For trough-hole mounting we use wave soldering M/c – Aries 3000C, SEHO.

Correct testing saves time while
improving quality and safety
For inspection and testing we use a Jtag programmer, HP 3070 ICT, Chroma Video microscope 7310, Benchmark inspection system, AP Lab IC Tester, Z-Check, Oscilloscopes as well as an EPROM programmer. For efficient rework we have the BGA Rework Station BGA-3592-G.

We have a highly efficient sourcing and materials planning team that sources electronic components, mechanical components, and plastic/polymer parts from around the globe through a network of over 70 suppliers. We minimize component costs and lead-time while maximizing inventory turnover using customized Supply Chain Management and Material Resource Planning Software packages.
Awarded for high quality
Rangsons has an independent QA department for electronic and mechanical assemblies that is managed by a team of highly experienced engineers. We work according to SQC standards. In addition, we are a Six Sigma company implementing quality tools such as Kanban, Kaizen, and Benchmarking, etc. GE & L&T have honored us with the ‘Best Supplier for South Asia’ award.
